I am being introduced as a guest designer for Ruby Rock-It.

THis is what they said on their blog :

''INTRODUCING OUR GUEST | BENTE FAGERBERG'

Introducing our Guest | Bente Fagerberg

Hello there, we are so excited to be introducing our guest for this month:  The fabulous Bente Fagerberg!

Let's take a peek into this creative soul's world...
I am a Norwegian lady living in Sweden since many years back. I have three beautiful daughters who mean the world to me.
They are the main inspiration for my scrapbooking pages. I have scrapped for a few years now and actually feel a need to create something every day . Expressing myself through papers and beautiful embellishments is just the best wayto spend my time!!
When I am not scrapbooking or spending time with my family I co-own a small business with a friend.
We sell fashion jewellery, bags and scarves as wholesalers. It gives me a lot of freedom which I love.
I was a SAHM for the best part of my life, but now the girls are older they don't need me to be there all the time. Originally I spent years at university studying the field of economy and several other subjects.
I am very happy that I was asked to be a guest designer here at Ruby Rock It! The collection I was sent was actually a bit out of my comfort zone, but I had so much fun with it! I loved the feel and quality of the products and the fact that one side was kraft and one side 'coloure/glittered. Very clever! The embellishments are so fun too!
I hope I was able to give you some inspiration!!
Here's a few peeks at what I've been up to...

Such goodness here!  We will be back later on in the month with her full reveal...

Ok, thanks for peeking and in about a weeks time the full works will be posted on the Ruby Rock-It blog if you are curious :-) Hope to see you then!

Below is a little taste of what you can see over at the Sizzix UK blog:

A page and a card using gorgeous Lemoncraft.

Hello friends!!
I admit I've been a lazy blogger lately..., but hey, ...I am back to share a couple of
things made with beautiful Lemoncraft products.
Today I have one of the pages to share and a little card that I made a while ago.

First up is my page using the lovely 'Forget Me Not' collection and looks like this:

I wanted the look to be a little bit different so I decided to use one of my dies
and cut out a round shape from my normal sized photo.
I used one of the doilies from a paper in the 'Just Love Me' collection as a frame.
These two beauties are my eldest daughters :-) The trellis pattern was made with one of my fave Sizzix dies HERE.

To make the pretty and feminine colours of this collection shine
I added some solid chartreuse cardstock that I think fits in very well.

I used one of my new dies from Sizzix HERE to make the sweet little foilage for my flowers.
And just to  make sure this post does not go on forever I made a collage with a few more close ups :-)

I fussy cut the large rose design from the A4 Retro decorations sheet.
I made it a special feature here and think it is such a beautiful detail.

And finally a photo of the card that I made a little while ago,
but thought I could share it here as well:)

To see close ups of the products I used for my pages please visit the Lemoncraft blog and my post there :-)

Thanks for visiting! Hugs!

Some useful cards, using cool dies and stamps.

I realized I am slightly behind with posting projects lately.
I thought I'd share the three cards I made for a recent post on the Sizzix UK blog.
I used some funky new dies and I think that lovely die I used for my first card is one of my favourites. I have also used some of the Sizzix embossing folders, and they are so easy to use.

I have picked one or two dies from each set. I think the sets that come with their own stamps are quite fun and also rather versatile as you can use them in different ways.

This oldschool typewriter was a big hit with the younger members of the household.
I have three daughters and they all loved this one a lot!!

One of the great things about the new sets is that they are great to use with other supplies to do pocket scrapbooking. It's all the rage at the moment and Sizzix has several die sets to help you make both cards for it and suer cute decorations.

'My Whole Heart' , last share from August Scraps of Elegance kit

Today I have another page to share that I made with the gorgeous August  kit 'Raindrops on Roses' from Scraps of Elegance.
I realize it had not been posted here yet so I wanted to show it before the reveal of the next kit.
With the heavy rains over the week end I have been kept busy with among other things a flooded basement, .....but here it is .-) It's a pretty short one today :-)
(A few posts down you can see a picture with the kit contents.)

This is one of the lovely Authentique Papers from the kit with a pretty script pattern.
Flowers are Petaloo Dahlias and a few Prima mini roses.
You can also see a cute paperclip in the smaller cluster and that is also is by Prima.
I used a couple of stencils on here too that I think give a great effect.
In the SOE shop you can also find a few kinds of different stencils for a similar look.

Also included in the kit ia a pack of  lovely thick and chunky chipboard from Blue Fern and I have used some of it here both sides of my photo.

Thanks for looking. Hope to see you back here again soon! :-)
