I can only agree with it all. I am so deeply impressed by what my PD friends have come up with.
The post about the bloghop follow below so just to scroll down a bit :-)

Here's my latest 'creation' .
I am sure you can tell I enjoyed myself in making this page. It is so nice to get a bit messy.

I started out with a green patterned paper from PD and built up my background using masks, stencils, gesso and paints.
I doodled around the edges to create a carefree environment for my cute photos.

As always I have indulged in an abundance of beautiful flowers that Papirdesign makes in
sooo many lovely colours!!

Ok, this is the last close up. Promise...!  I always have such a hard time limiting myself as I just love looking at close ups on other people's blogs,...LOL! Thanks for visiting. Make sure you do the hop and become a follower to make sure you have a chance to win that magnificent PRIZE :-)

'Remember the Good Times' from PaperHaus Magazine using some Prima goodness.

Hi, seems I don't update this ol' blog very often.....
Oh well, I am now back to share a lo I made especially for the PaperHaus sketch section of the Spring edition. I am proud to have been part of this great publication. I really feel it is the best one so far. I used  this and that from different paper collecrions by  Prima Marketing.

I will keep this fairly short and sweet. I think the close ups speak for themselves. If you are interested to know what supplies have been used all of tham have been listed together with a photo of the LO in  the magazine. (Link at the end of this post).

Don't you just adore all tha Prima goodness.....?

One of my fave things to do is to use a mask and gesso.

Right now PaperHaus Magazine is accepting submissions for the Summer Issue.
If you would like to be a part of the magazine be sure to send in those beautiful pages etc.
Read about it below.

Finally I promised I would share the link to the magazine ..... HERE.

'Sweet Summer Souvenirs' for the sketch at Les Papiers de Pandore.

Time for a new sketch at Les Papiers de Pandore.
I loved the look of Julie's new sketch and had a lot of fun working with it. I decided on a slightly more C&S approach than my normal one, but am actually thrilled with how it turned out.
I think mainly because of the lovely colours in the pretty Pandore papers.

Here is the fun sketch that I used for inspiration:

sketch-avril13.jpg

The cute photo was taken by a charming young man and son of my friend Julie who is in this photo with me. We are spending time with another charming French friend that we met that day. Laurence was so kind as to invite us to her house for lunch and a chat. We had a lovely afternoon needless to say, and Julie and I experienced some adventures in the car on the French national roads...... LOL!.

I combined alphas fom Pink Paislee and JillybeanSoup to make my title, and stitched down the letters using my sewing machine. Both these alphas had kept well and did not actually need stitching down, but occasionally you will get one that has lost the ability to stick. Often I will just add some glue to the back, and voila!, but now and again, and especially on a more C&S layout I like to stitch across the letters.

If you would like to see the layouts that Francoise and Anya made please click your way over to the Pandore blog.

'Sunrays' for Papirdesign DT and a new theme and hop at Paper Issues.

Hi friends!! Today I have a post up at the Papirdesign blog and I thought I would share my layout here at the same time.

I did a lot of stitching and masking on this. I used a mask with a script design to customize my background and machine stitched my papers together.

For a fun photo mat I used a deep edge border punch along two sides of the piece of paper and to finish off the look I added a swirly piece of chipboard by Imaginarium Designs. My other chipboard piece  in the shape of a lamp-post is by Fabscraps.

I love to layer all kinds of papers and embellishments and working with my Papirdesign products is so much fun. I love to fussy cut from the sheets of vintage images and the layered roses here are examples of that. PD also has all shades of paper roses and half pearls and these add such a feminine touch to any layout. Lucky me!

Here you can see I used part of a 'golden' coloured pearl swirl. As the PD swirls are so large and cleverly shaped they are great for cutting into and using on different projects.

To finish off the overall look of my lo I added two tags in a light pink shade.
I cut them freehand from a themed paper  with the text 'confirmation' which did not suit my page at all.
I used my fingertips and some gesso to cover the words but not the pink colour.
I also stiched around the edges for a customized look.
I hope you enjoyed my Papirdesign page!

I also wanted to tell you about the new theme and hop over at Paper Issues.
Look at these fun pages my Team mates created:

'Enjoy Summer', DT layout for Inkido.

Today it is my turn to post on the Inkido blog.
This layout was also made for Yasmines challenge on the Inkido blog this month.
The idea is to use a mask/stencil as well as stamping on your project

I used a mix of older and newer collections for this page.
I do like me some fussy cutting and the 'Sunshine' papers have an abundance of pretty roses to cut out and use as decorations.

I thought the beautiful Ingvild Bolme resin park bench by Prima ( Thanks sweet Eila!! ) would be a good match for the photo and evoke feelings of sitting in a beautiful rose garden.

I used a large number of lovely Inkido blooms on this lo and also some red half pearls. I find they are much more versatile than I understood from the beginning. They can be decorations in their own right and not just added a pearl here or there to adorn some other embellishment.

For the challenge I chose a small brick mask and a swirl stamp from the extensive Inkido collection. They have so many stamps that you will find one for any occasion.

Some details of my paper distressing and stitched borders.
I added a couple of safety pins as well as a slightly humorous touch.

Finally the title is made using a slightly older Prima textile alphabet, I just love that style and size.
I actually had to be a little extra creative to change the letters to form my word as some letters were missing. But as fellow creative people you know that anything that works is fine! :)

I hope you enjoyed my page and thanks for any messages you may leave me!

Be sure to visit Inkido to check out the challenge.

One of my layouts from the Spring Issue of PaperHaus Magazine.

Hi again!!
A month has passed and we are allowed to share the projects we made for the latest PaperHaus Magazine. I had two layouts and one off the page project in this one. Today I will show you what I made for the PaperHues section.

I had a lot of fun (..and a lot of work,too....) creating the layered paper 'frame' around my layout.
I used a couple of sheets of white cardstock and cut strips from them. I crumbled and stretched my papers several times to achieve this worn look and stapled the strips to the page while  layering them. To stiffen them I brushed them many times with paint and gesso to create a hold. I also added some cheese cloth etc between the layers for a more varied look.
I can assure you this looks much more interesting IRL!! LOL!

The base of the lo is recykled corrugated cardboard from a box. I painted some of the colours from the palette onto the kraft but did not cover it completely

I embellished with some mistable banners from Prima as well as some other Prima goodies. The small chipboard frame is made by Imaginarium Designs.

Most of my flowers are by Prima but even a few from my stash. I love the large lilac flower that is from an older collection.

I used a border punch to create the inner frame and added a coral coloured pearl trim to it. I love the femininity it denotes. I also used some cream liquid pearl to add to the effect.

I hope you enjoyed a closer look at my lo.

In the same issue of the magazine was a frame that I originally did for a tutorial at My Scrapbook Nook. In the mag it looked a bit distorted as the dimensions were wrong.
Here you can see  it is perfectly square. :-)

Thanks for dropping by!
Be sure to come back soon as I have a few more things to share. I have made  few lo's that I have not been able to share yet.
